One month after claiming an August release for the Eee Pad Slider, Asus UK has unfortunately revised the schedule of its device and said that, at least the UK, will have to wait until fall to get the tablet.
No word on why a delay was needed but hopefully its the last one for the Eee Pad Slider. Asus sliding tablet, seen below, runs Android Honeycomb and features a 10.1-inch (1280 x 800) IPS touchscreen, a QWERTY keyboard, an Nvidia Tegra 2 SoC (@ 1.2 GHz apparently), 1GB of RAM, 16/32GB of eMMC flash storage, a microSD card slot, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, mini USB and mini HDMI ports, and two cameras (5MP rear-facing, 1.2MP front-facing).
UK prices for this tablet are expected later this month.
